This week at the Pastors Prayer meeting we prayed about several items but a repeated topic that came up was the struggles that we go through. There were prayers about some unexpected health issues – family issues – being bold in circumstances – the many people who were hit by the hail. Life just seemed to be catching up with us and allot of people we knew – one pastor was led to lay hands on everyone (this was powerful).
My Blog is titled “You Say” and this is a song by the Artist Lauren Daigle and it reminded me of the Pastors Prayer time. It talks about the mental struggles we go through but that I just need to believe in what “You Say”. Below are the lyrics and a connection to the song. Be Blessed…. This song will finish this blog in way that I cannot… Bobbyg
“You Say” by Lauren Daigle
I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I’m not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?
Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know
“Chorus”
You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don’t belong, oh You say I am Yours
And I believe, oh I believe
What You say of me
I believe
The only thing that matters now is everything You think of me
In You I find my worth, in You I find my identity, ooo-oh
Chorus
Taking all I have and now I’m laying it at Your feet
You have every failure God, and You’ll have every victory, ooo-oh
Chorus
